Harshit Rajaiya is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. He holds a PhD in Finance from Boston College, a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
Research Interests: Dr. Rajaiya’s work focuses on innovation-driven capital structures, venture capital financing dynamics, FinTech industry trends, and the role of online reviews (e.g., Glassdoor) in shaping corporate financial strategies. He explores how intellectual property, student loans, and social responsibility initiatives influence entrepreneurial firms’ access to capital and risk-taking behavior.
