Twinette Johnson is the Dean and Professor of Law at Saint Louis University School of Law (SLU LAW). As Dean, she serves as the chief operating, financial, and academic officer of the institution. Previously, she held the roles of Dean, Interim Dean, and Professor of Law at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Her professional background includes a judicial clerkship on the Missouri Supreme Court under Judge W. Duane Benton and legal practice at Shearman and Sterling, LLP in New York, specializing in bank finance transactions.

Research focuses on higher education access policy, learning theory models in legal education, affinity group identity dynamics, and disaster policy.
