Trish Allen serves as the Tutoring & Testing Coordinator at the Educational Success Center, University of Wisconsin-Superior. She oversees peer tutoring programs, embedded tutoring, and academic recovery support for students on academic notice/suspension. Under her leadership, the Center achieved College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA) Level 1 Certification in Spring 2024, ensuring rigorous tutor training standards. Trish holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Minnesota – Duluth (2015) and a Master of Social Work (2017) from the same institution.
Her work integrates strategies focused on student well-being, accountability, and motivation. Key professional contributions include presentations at major conferences like WCLCA and ICLCA, addressing topics such as tutor skill development, imposter syndrome, and career readiness integration in tutoring. She chairs the Wisconsin College Learning Center Association (WCLCA) Executive Board and maintains memberships in CRLA, ICLCA, ACTP, and ACTLA.
Trish also manages the first-year mentorship program and provides academic support for students identified via Progress Reports. Her efforts emphasize cross-campus collaboration and innovative approaches to fostering student success.
