Becky Allen, MNA, RN, serves as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Nursing and Associate Professor at Clarkson College. She joined the faculty in 2003 and transitioned to her current role in 2020, overseeing the Interprofessional Learning Center. With a BS in Nursing from the University of Mississippi and an MNA from the University of Phoenix, she brings extensive clinical experience in labor and delivery units globally and U.S. Air Force service.
Her educational background includes a focus on nonprofit administration, complementing her roles in academic leadership. She actively participates in committees like the Admission/Progression/Graduation Council and coordinates the Comprehensive Student Assessment. Ms. Allen also teaches during the spring Academic Travel Abroad program and reviews applications for Sigma Theta Tau International, the nursing honor society.
Research interests include nursing education outcomes, interprofessional education (IPE), and clinical assessment metrics. Her scholarly work explores predictive factors for NCLEX-RN success and online IPE implementation effectiveness. She emphasizes student success through evidence-based practices and interprofessional collaboration.
Ms. Allen’s contributions span academic administration, clinical expertise, and curriculum development. She advocates for holistic student development and lifelong learning in healthcare professions.
