Tracy Reimer serves as Program Director for the Doctor of Education in K-12 Administration and a Professor at Bethel University's Graduate School. With a decade as an elementary principal, she led a school turnaround initiative transforming a 'Needs Improvement' institution into a National Blue Ribbon School. Her work focuses on fostering professional learning communities, equity-driven leadership, and leveraging technology to address educational inequities.
Education: B.A. Elementary Education & Psychology (Bethel University, 1996); M.S. Curriculum & Instruction (St. Cloud State University, 2000); Ph.D. Curriculum & Instruction, Literacy Education (University of Minnesota, 2010). Holds Minnesota K-12 Principal and Superintendent licenses.
Research interests emphasize equity literacy, culturally responsive leadership, and systemic barriers faced by marginalized students. Recent work explores pandemic impacts on mental health disparities and technology's role in educational equity. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles and presented globally on leadership practices.
Teaching focuses on organizational leadership, assessment, and applied leadership strategies. Certifications include NAESP Principal Mentor, Racial Equity Facilitator, and CliftonStrengths Coach. Active in professional organizations such as NAESP and the National Social Science Association.
