Tony Celenza

Professor Tony Celenza is an academic emergency physician affiliated with the University of Western Australia (UWA) Medical School and serves as a Specialist Emergency Physician at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital since 1998. He holds a Professorship in both Emergency Medicine and Medical Education.

Research Interests: Professor Celenza focuses on two core areas: Medical Education (curriculum design, clinical teaching, assessment methods) and Emergency Medicine Research (toxinology, cardiac arrest outcomes, pre-hospital care, falls management). Recent work explores healthcare worker mental health during the pandemic, AI in emergency care, and medical student professional behavior development.
