Leon Adams

Leon Adams is a Professor of Internal Medicine at the UWA Medical School, part of The University of Western Australia. His affiliations include roles at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and collaborations with institutions globally. Adams holds advanced qualifications including MB BS (Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery), PhD from the University of Western Australia, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

Notable projects include optimizing cancer surveillance in metabolic-associated fatty liver disease, developing body composition measurement tools for diverse populations, and the IC3 trial for early cirrhosis detection.
