Tom T. Shelton, Jr. is a Professor in the Department of Music Studies at Rider University's Westminster Choir College. With a focus on music education spanning church, school, and community contexts, he has over 18 years of experience teaching middle school choral music in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County.
His leadership roles include past presidency of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) at national, Southern Division, and North Carolina levels, as well as serving as National R&S Chair for Middle School/Junior High Choirs. He has conducted honor choirs in 20 U.S. states and internationally, including a recent invitation to lead a Treble Choir Festival at Carnegie Hall.

Publications: His compositions have been published by major music publishers including Choristers Guild, GIA Publications, and Hinshaw Music Company.
