Titus Olaniyi is a Professor of Sustainable Energy Planning and Management at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) London. He holds a PhD in Decision Support Systems for Sustainable Energy Planning from London South Bank University (2008) and an MSc in Energy Engineering (1995). His research focuses on environmental sustainability, energy policy, and systems thinking, particularly in the Global South. Key interests include sustainable development goals, oil and gas industry challenges, and urban planning in regions like Nigeria's Niger Delta and Lagos. His work addresses issues such as energy transition, circular economy solutions, and sustainable transport systems. Recent studies explore smart home energy efficiency, fog computing, and comparative analyses of sustainability policies in Nigeria and Ghana. He has contributed to over 75 publications, emphasizing systemic approaches to policy development and risk management in emerging economies.
