Dr. Moshood Bello is a Lecturer in Business at Keele Business School, Keele University, where he directs the Senior Leadership MBA and Online MBA programs. As module leader for Business Strategy and the Entrepreneurship dissertation pathway, he bridges academic and practical business expertise developed through extensive industry experience.
Bello's research focuses on entrepreneurship in emerging economies, small business management, and strategic organizational development. His work examines enterprise creation in Sub-Saharan Africa, Islamic financial systems, and sustainable business models for developing regions, with particular interest in how religious and cultural factors influence economic systems.
His recent publications analyze water entrepreneurship challenges in Africa, Islamic bond markets, and opportunity recognition frameworks. These works demonstrate consistent focus on practical solutions for sustainable development and ethical finance.
Before joining Keele in 2019, he served as Senior Lecturer and Director of Part-time programmes at Lagos State Polytechnic (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology), Nigeria. His industry experience includes co-founding McDam Consulting Ltd, where he provided management consultancy services, and acting as Lead Consultant for establishing Nigeria's first Islamic Microfinance Bank, developing its compliance frameworks and recruitment strategies.
