Rose Alani

Dr. Rose Alani is an Associate Professor and senior researcher at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Lagos. With over 20 years of experience in environmental and analytical chemistry, she leads Nigeria's Air Quality Monitoring Research Group (AQMRG) and served as the 2024 Nigerian Coordinator for the CLEAN-Air Forum.

Recent publications highlight her work in GIS-based pollution mapping, seasonal air pollution variability, PAHs exposure risks, and economic impact analysis. These studies emphasize solutions for urban environmental challenges in Lagos and broader West Africa.
