Bakeas Evangelos is a Professor of Environmental Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, affiliated with the Department of Chemistry. His research focuses on the analysis and impact of environmental pollutants, including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), trace elements, and air quality assessments. He has contributed extensively to the study of atmospheric chemistry, marine pollution, and health implications of environmental contaminants.
Research Interests: Professor Bakeas investigates the occurrence, sources, and health risks of organic and inorganic pollutants in urban, industrial, and marine environments.
