Associate Professor Tim Doyle is an academic at Macquarie University's Department of Health Sciences, specializing in biomechanics and physical performance with a focus on neuromuscular biomechanics, injury prevention, and military/tactical populations. He holds an Associate Professorship and conducts research on human performance optimization, load carriage biomechanics, and evidence-based training strategies.
Education: PhD in Biomechanics (Edith Cowan University), MSc (Ball State University), BSc (Honours) in Human Movement (University of Queensland). He completed an Endeavour Executive Fellowship at Mayo Clinic and Stanford University.
Research Interests: Military performance, injury screening, load carriage biomechanics, and wearable sensor applications. Projects include collaborations with military and law enforcement agencies, and development of physical employment standards for aviation firefighters.
