Prof Rob Orr is a Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine at Bond University and Director of the Tactical Research Unit (TRU). He specializes in physical conditioning, injury prevention, and rehabilitation for tactical professions including military, law enforcement, and firefighting. His career spans over 30 years in the Australian Army, where he served as a Human Performance Officer, and he continues to contribute to the Army Reserve. Dr. Orr’s research focuses on optimizing physical performance and occupational safety across tactical populations’ lifespans, from initial training to specialized roles.

Labs/Teams: Leads the Tactical Research Unit, a multidisciplinary group providing research, education, and consultancy to global tactical sectors.
