Thomas Hyde is a Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College, University of Oxford, with a concurrent part-time position in the Music Department at King's College London. As an active composer and scholar, his work bridges creative practice and academic research in contemporary music.
Research Focus
Hyde specializes in post-1945 British modernism, composition techniques, and musical analysis. His compositions span opera, choral, orchestral, and chamber genres, with major works including:
