Dr Thomas Hyde is a Lecturer in Music Composition and Education at King's College London's Department of Music, within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. He concurrently holds a senior research fellowship at Worcester College, Oxford. His roles include chairing the Lucille Graham Trust, supporting London-based music education projects, and serving as a Vice-President of the Presteigne Festival. Hyde's career spans teaching at City University and a junior fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music, where he was later elected an Associate in 2017. His creative output includes orchestral works like the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra's Symphony and the opera 'Aiding and Abetting' (2019-22).
