Tetsuya Ohtoshi is a Professor at the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences and Director of the Research Institute for Letters, Arts and Sciences at Waseda University. His research focuses on Middle Eastern Historical Anthropology and Cultural Anthropology, particularly examining Islamic societies in Egypt through historical and ethnographic methodologies.
