Associate Professor Tess Hardy is an academic at Melbourne Law School, where she serves as Co-Director of the Centre for Employment and Labour Relations Law and holds an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Fellowship. Her research spans regulatory theory, contract law, labour law, and competition and consumer law. With extensive experience in both academia and legal practice, she has worked with national law firms internationally and consulted for the International Labour Organisation.
Hardy's doctoral research examined collaborative compliance initiatives between labour regulators and non-state actors. She maintains active involvement in academic associations as a committee member of the Australian Labour Law Association.
