Tawhida Ahmed is a Professor in Law at The City Law School, City St George's, University of London, where she has been since 2014. Previously, she held positions as Associate Professor and Lecturer at the University of Reading and Lecturer at the University of Sheffield. She earned her PhD in European Union Law and Minority Rights from the University of Nottingham.
Her research focuses on human rights, EU law, and minority rights, with affiliations to the Human Rights Consortium at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, and membership in the Steering Committee of the Indigenous Peoples and Minority Rights Project.
