Sarah Gale is a Senior Lecturer at the Law School of City St George's, University of London. She serves as Programme Director for the Graduate Diploma in Law and has taught Tort Law and Media Law at City, as well as EU Law at the Institute for Law in Jersey. Her academic roles include Senior Marker for EU Law at the University of London International Academy and Associate Examiner for Tort Law and EU Law.
Her research focuses on Human Rights, Tort Law, and Media Law. She has contributed to the Tort Law Review and presented papers on Media Law and Tort Law at the Society for Legal Scholars' Annual Conference. Sarah is a member of the British Italian Law Association, the UK Association for European Law, and the Society for Legal Scholars.

Professional Background: Prior to joining City University in 1996, she worked as a solicitor in London and Brussels and at the European Commission's Directorate General for Competition. She holds a PGCE (Higher Education) and LLB, and has been an External Examiner at David Game College since July 2000.
