Tatiana Filatova

Tatiana Filatova is a Professor of Computational Economics at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). She leads the Dutch 4TU Research Program on Resilience and serves as Academic Lead for the Climate Change Governance Theme in TU Delft's Climate Action Programme. Previously, she worked as a water economist at Deltares (2009-2015) and remains a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (SWR/KNAW).

Research Focus: Exploring feedbacks between policies and individual decisions in climate-resilient development, with emphasis on regime shifts in complex socio-technical-environmental systems. Her work integrates spatial agent-based models, panel data on pro-environmental behavior, and institutional co-evolution, supported by grants like the ERC Consolidator Grant (2025) and VIDI project on social tipping points.

Recent Publications highlight trends in climate adaptation across agriculture, coastal regions, and European sectors, with keywords spanning Climate Change, Economics, and Risk Assessment. She co-developed datasets on household adaptation and contributes to SDGs through climate policy research.
