Tarangini Sriraman is a Wellcome Trust-funded Career Development Fellow at King's College London's Department of History within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. Her research bridges social history of medicine, socio-legal history in South Asia, and digital humanities. She holds a dual focus on colonial-era documentation practices and contemporary digital labor dynamics in pandemic responses.
Her first monograph In Pursuit of Proof (OUP 2021) examines identification documents in Delhi's urban peripheries, while her second manuscript explores caste-race intersections in 20th-century Indian alcohol discourses. Her current King's project maps digital labor in pandemic volunteer efforts across India and Indonesia, combining oral history and digital methods.
