Tanjina Sharmin is a full-time Lecturer at the Monash Law Faculty, joining in 2019. She previously taught at a leading Bangladeshi law school and practiced law in a foreign jurisdiction.

Her research focuses on International Economic Law, Investor-State Dispute Resolution, and Commercial Laws, with recent work on post-COVID-19 investment treaties and Malaysian contract law modernization. Notable scientific awards include the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) (2024) and Commonwealth Scholar status. Her publications span topics like MFN clauses, Investor-State Arbitration, and Legal Reforms in Developing Nations.
