Dr. Eleni Magklasi is a Lecturer in Commercial Law at King’s College London’s Dickson Poon School of Law. She holds a PhD in International Commercial Law from the University of Southampton and an LLM in Maritime Law (distinction) alongside an LLB from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she is also a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and a Member of the Athens Bar Association.
Her research focuses on International Commercial Arbitration, Carriage of Goods by Sea, Oil and Gas Law, and EU Law. Notable works include her 2024 monograph Arbitration Clauses in Maritime Contracts and articles on contract modification in crises and arbitration clause incorporation. She teaches postgraduate modules on Carriage of Goods by Sea and undergraduate Commercial Law.
