Tang Wern Ee

Associate Professor Tang Wern Ee is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean (Family Medicine) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University. She also serves as Lead for the Longitudinal Community Experience program, focusing on preparing future physicians for modern healthcare challenges. Her clinical roles include Senior Consultant Family Physician at National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, where she directs the Clinical Research Unit and Information Management & Analytics division. She advises the Ministry of Health as a Senior Consultant in Primary & Community Care and chairs the Singapore National Asthma Programme Steering Committee.

Her research emphasizes improving chronic disease management in primary care, particularly diabetes remission through clinical trials and asthma management strategies. Her work integrates health literacy and healthcare system optimization to enhance patient outcomes.
