Tak Sum Cheng is an Honorary Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia's UWA Medical School, Department of Surgery. His work focuses on bone biology, osteoclast function, and skeletal homeostasis with contributions to regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. He has collaborated internationally on projects involving collagen membranes for bone regeneration and osteocyte signaling mechanisms.
