Professor Minghao Zheng is a Winthrop Professor of Orthopaedic Research at The University of Western Australia (UWA), School of Biomedical Sciences. He holds dual roles as a researcher and co-founder of Orthocell Limited (ASX:OCC), a biomedical company. His expertise spans bone biology, regenerative medicine, and cell therapy, with pioneering work in collagen scaffolds for cartilage and tendon repair. He developed MACI (Matrix-induced Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation) and ATT (Autologous Tenocyte Therapy), and his research on Giant Cell Tumour of Bone is WHO-recognized.
