Swaroop K. Korni serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at State University of New York College at Brockport, where he chaired the department from 2004 to 2015—growing it to 700 students and establishing a highly successful forensic science minor in 2008.
His academic credentials include a PhD in Criminology & Deviance (1993), M.A. in Criminology & Deviance (1987), and M.S.W. in Social Planning (1986) from Temple University, plus an M.A. in Urban Sociology (1978) and B.S.W. in Social Work, Sociology, and Psychology (1975) from Osmania University, India.
