Svend Hollensen is an Associate Professor of International Marketing at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), specializing in Business-to-Business Marketing. He holds a Ph.D. from Copenhagen Business School (1992) and an M.Sc. (cand.merc.) from Aarhus Business School (1983). His career spans both academia and industry, including roles as International Marketing Coordinator at Danfoss and International Marketing Manager at JF-Fabriken.
Research interests include Relationship Marketing, Globalization, Internationalization, and IoT platform models. Recent work explores digital transformation, metaverse marketing, and sustainable IoT adoption in high-end hotels. He has authored globally translated textbooks like Global Marketing (8th ed., 2020) and Marketing Management – A Relationship Approach (2019).
