Suzette Plaisance Bryan is a Lecturer in Executive Education at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. She holds a PhD in Speech Communication from Louisiana State University (2002). Her research focuses on emotional intelligence, neuroscience applications in learning, and communication dynamics in organizational contexts. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and authored book chapters on topics ranging from civil rights narratives to imagined interaction theories.
Bryan’s professional certifications include the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She has reviewed manuscripts for the Journal of Information and Technology and the Louisiana Communication Journal. Her funding history includes the CITI Grant and Learn and Serve Grants spanning two years.
