Susan White is an Adjunct Professor in the Visual Studies Department at Drexel University, where she teaches Printmaking and Drawing. A multidisciplinary artist, printmaker, and educator based in Philadelphia, her work explores the natural world through printmaking, installation, and book arts. She has held solo exhibitions at institutions such as Millersville University and the Philadelphia Art Alliance.

- BFA in Printmaking from Moore College of Art and Design (1990)
Her artistic practice initially focused on Artist Books, later evolving into installation-based works. Solo exhibitions like In the Weeds (2021) and Encircle (2017) highlight her engagement with natural themes. She also contributed to group shows such as Dialogic (2013) and curated the traveling exhibition Structures and Stories (2015) for Bucks County Community College’s Artmobile Project.
Susan’s diverse roles include co-owning the urban gardening business City Planter with her husband and working as a scenic artist and display designer for Macy’s Department Store. As a full-time parent to two teenagers, she balances family life with creative pursuits.
