Paweł Polus

Dr. Paweł Polus is a Lecturer at the University of Arts in Poznań, where he has served on the teaching staff since 2007. Born in 1979 in Wągrowiec, he earned his MArch in Printmaking and Drawing from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (now the University of Arts) in 2004. His artistic practice encompasses drawing, painting, spatial installations, and artists' books, which he has showcased in over 50 solo and group exhibitions across Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and Korea.

Research Interests center on experimental approaches to drawing, painting, and spatial installations, with a focus on interdisciplinary methodologies. His work bridges traditional printmaking techniques with contemporary installation art and book arts, emphasizing materiality and conceptual narratives.

Exhibitions include venues such as the Naprzeciw Gallery (Poznań), Polish Institute (Seoul), Emerson Gallery (Berlin), Villa Zanders Gallery (Bergisch Gladbach), and Contemporary Art Museum ISE (Japan).
