Hanna Łuczak is a Professor at the University of Arts in Poznań, where she has taught since 1984 and leads the 4th Drawing Studio. Born in 1959 in Gniezno, she graduated from the University of Arts in Poznań with a specialization in painting and drawing. She co-founded the Akumulatory 2 Gallery in Poznań (1981-1990) and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Poland and internationally, including representing Poland at the XXII Sao Paulo Biennial (1994).
Research and Creative Focus: Her work spans drawing, painting, spatial installations, and art books, often exploring themes of time, memory, and history through visual art. She has contributed to contemporary art discourse via exhibitions in venues such as the Centre for Contemporary Art (Warsaw), Nikolaj Galerie (Copenhagen), and Matt's Gallery (London).
