Anika Schneider is an Adjunct Professor at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and Director of Exhibitions and Artist Programs at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. She holds an MFA in Visual Studies from MCAD (2019) and a B.S. in Environmental Science and Studio Arts from Gettysburg College. Her work explores themes of cultural identity, memory, and liminal states through mixed-media narratives, combining painting, printmaking, and ceramics.

Research focuses on redefining cultural identity through visual storytelling, particularly addressing Asian Mixed heritage and diasporic experiences. Recent projects include a public art installation for Brooklyn Center’s transit center, emphasizing community health and safety during the pandemic.
Awards include the Windgate Fellowship and Gettysburg College Provost Grant. She teaches courses like Mixed Media Toolbox for Narrative Art and leads virtual workshops, advocating for BIPOC artists through scholarships.
