Susan Sorensen is a Term Adjunct Lecturer at Queen's University, where she teaches Employment Law. She is also a senior lawyer and employee relations specialist with over 25 years of experience in labour and employment law, spanning private practice and in-house roles at firms like Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and Macquarie North America. Her expertise includes legal seminars on employment regulation and human rights law, and she co-authored Employment Law: Solutions for the Canadian Workplace (2002).
Her research interests focus on Labour Law, Employment Law, Human Rights Law, and the regulation of the gig economy. She holds a J.D. from Queen’s University and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
