Susan Rotholz is an Adjunct Professor in the Music Department at Vassar College since 2016. A renowned flutist, she serves as Principal Flute of the Greenwich Symphony, The New York Chamber Ensemble, and holds memberships in the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, The New York Pops, and the Little Orchestra Society. Her career spans solo, orchestral, and chamber music performances.

Research & Performance Interests: Susan specializes in classical flute performance, with a focus on chamber music collaborations and orchestral repertoire. Her work emphasizes expressive solo performance techniques and pedagogy in music education.

- Concert Artists Guild as a soloist
Teaching: She instructs advanced flute courses (MUSI 70, 170, 270, 370) and fourth-year instruction (MUSI 380) at Vassar College.
