Susan Rossell

Professor Susan Rossell is a Professor and Director of Clinical Trials at Swinburne University of Technology's School of Health Sciences and Centre for Mental Health. She also holds an adjunct position at St Vincent's Health. Her research focuses on cognitive neuropsychology, psychosis, schizophrenia, and body dysmorphic disorder, with a strong emphasis on neuroimaging and clinical trials.

Her research interests span cognitive neuropsychology, psychosis, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), neuroimaging, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. She investigates the neurobiological and cognitive underpinnings of psychiatric disorders, with a focus on treatment innovation and clinical translation.

Her recent publications highlight a strong trend in novel therapeutic interventions, particularly in psychedelic-assisted therapies for treatment-resistant conditions such as schizophrenia, depression, and BDD.
