James Gilleen

James Gilleen is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing & Midwifery at University College London (UCL). He holds honorary researcher positions at the Institute of Psychiatry and UCL. His expertise spans schizophrenia, schizotypy, clinical trials, neuroimaging (fMRI/MRI/PET), and mental health research. He contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.

His recent work explores biomarkers, imaging techniques, and clinical trial methodologies. He has published on topics like cognitive flexibility in schizophrenia and EEG biomarkers.

Grants and collaborations include ENIGMA studies and randomized controlled trials. Active in interdisciplinary teams focusing on mental health policy and patient experience.
