Summer Pannell

Dr. Summer Pannell is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi. She holds a PhD from the University of Mississippi (2015), a Master of Education from Union University (2008), and a BA from Delta State University (2001). Her research focuses on school safety, bullying prevention, restorative practices, and leadership strategies to foster inclusive and equitable educational environments. Dr. Pannell also explores the intersection of technology in education, particularly in online settings, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences on student resilience.
