Summer Marion is an Assistant Professor in Global Studies at Bentley University. Her research focuses on global governance, international organizations, health security, and philanthropy, with a specific emphasis on private-sector engagement during crises. She holds affiliations with institutions like the University of Maryland School of Public Policy and Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. Marion earned her PhD in Political Science from Northeastern University (2022) and a MALD from the Fletcher School, Tufts University.
Her academic career includes roles as a Research Fellow and Visiting Researcher, alongside teaching positions at Bentley, Northeastern, and Harvard. Key research projects include analyses of COVAX's institutional design, pandemic preparedness, and the role of foundations in global health policy.
