Dr Sue Pavord is a Consultant Haematologist at Oxford University Hospitals and an Associate Senior Lecturer in Clinical Medicine. Her primary research and clinical interests include obstetric haematology, haemostasis, thrombosis, and transfusion medicine. She has authored over 90 publications and book chapters and contributed to national and international guidelines on haematological disorders in pregnancy.

She co-chairs the British Society for Haematology (BSH) Obstetric Haematology Group and serves as joint editor of The Obstetric Haematology Manual (with Hunt). Sue runs international courses on haematology in obstetrics and has delivered teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in clinical medicine, clinical examination skills, immunohaematology, and transfusion medicine across the UK and globally.
