Sue Lim is a Research Fellow in the Department of Anatomy & Developmental Biology at Monash University. Her research focuses on stem cell biology, epigenetic regulation, and cellular reprogramming, with contributions to understanding pluripotency, gene editing, and disease modeling. She has published extensively on topics such as CRISPR-mediated DNA editing in iPSCs and the role of transcriptional complexes in stem cell fate.
Key research interests include developmental biology, molecular mechanisms of stem cell differentiation, and the application of advanced genetic tools like CRISPR. Her work bridges basic science and translational research, particularly in modeling human diseases and improving reprogramming efficiency. Collaborations include projects on iBlastoid generation and retrotransposon instability in iPSCs.
Recent publications highlight advancements in xeno-free stem cell culture methods, nuclear transporter functions, and epigenetic modifications in cancer. Lim’s studies often emphasize the interplay between chromatin dynamics and transcriptional regulation, contributing to our understanding of pluripotency and lineage commitment.
