Steven Ersser

Professor Steven Ersser is a Professor of Nursing and Dermatology Care at Bournemouth University's Faculty of Health & Social, previously serving as Head of the Department of Nursing Science Sciences (2019-2023). His research focuses on dermatology nursing, skin health, and self-management interventions for chronic skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. He also addresses neglected tropical skin diseases in resource-poor regions. His work contributes to UN SDGs 3 (Good Health) and 6 (Clean Water).
