She joined the institution in 2010 as a research trial assistant while concurrently operating her own counseling practice specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA). Her career has focused on managing numerous primary care research studies, with a current emphasis on the NIHR-funded Acne Care Online trial—a feasibility and randomized controlled trial (RCT) evaluating an online behavioral intervention to improve acne self-management and reduce antibiotic use.
Her research interests center on digital health interventions in primary care, skin conditions (particularly eczema and acne), and collaboration with Research Development Networks and GP practices across the UK. She also contributes to cancer studies aimed at improving early diagnosis.
Key research outputs include publications on online behavioral interventions for eczema management, cost-effectiveness analyses of digital health tools, and qualitative evaluations of patient experiences with skin conditions. Her work spans dermatology, implementation science, and primary care innovation.
