Dr. Steve Kirkwood is the Head of Social Work and Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science. His research focuses on restorative justice, criminal justice social work, desistance from offending, and refugee integration. He holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and has extensive experience in policy research with organizations like Sacro. His work integrates discourse analysis, criminology, and refugee studies to address issues of justice, inequality, and identity.
