Steve Emery serves as Professor of Trumpet in the Brass and Percussion Department at the New England Conservatory (NEC), Boston. A former principal trumpet of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and member of the Boston Symphony/Boston Pops Orchestras, he maintains an active performance career including guest principal roles with the New York Philharmonic and Vienna Philharmonic. Renowned as one of Boston's most sought-after trumpet pedagogues, he bridges classical, jazz, and contemporary traditions in his teaching.

Artistic Profile: Emery's career spans orchestral, jazz, and avant-garde performance.
