Dr. Stephen Tyre is a Senior Lecturer at the School of History, University of St Andrews, and a researcher affiliated with the St Andrews Institute for Transnational & Spatial History. His academic background includes MA (University of Edinburgh), MSc (London School of Economics), and PhD (University of Edinburgh).
His research focuses on post-war French colonial and foreign policies, particularly the Algerian War of Independence and French decolonization in North Africa.
