Stephanie J. Malone

Stephanie J. Malone is Associate Professor and Department Chair of Educational Studies at Shenandoah University. With an EdD from the University of Nebraska, she researches literacy engagement challenges for adolescent readers and teacher development frameworks.

Professional Practice: Leverages 12 years as a K-12 reading specialist to shape teacher training programs focused on student-centered pedagogy.

Leadership: Directs Shenandoah's Education Outreach initiatives including Career Switcher Program and teacher recertification courses. Presented nationally on equity in literacy education.
