Stephanie J. Lee

Stephanie J. Lee, M.D., M.P.H., is Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Academic Professor/Associate Director of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch Cancer Center, holding the David and Patricia Giuliani/Oliver Press Endowed Chair in Cancer Research.

Dr. Lee specializes in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation with focus on chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), survivorship, and long-term outcomes. She leads a nationwide research network dedicated to improving GVHD prevention and treatment, which causes symptoms from dry eyes to life-threatening organ damage. As research director of Fred Hutch's Long-Term Follow-Up Program, she tracks outcomes for over 6,500 transplant survivors, advancing understanding of patient-reported experiences and quality-of-life issues.
