Stephan Schindler is a Professor of German at the University of South Florida's Department of World Languages. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Irvine, and previously taught at Princeton University, Washington University in St. Louis, and Eberhard Karls Universität in Tübingen. His research focuses on 18th- and 20th-century German literature, film, Holocaust studies, critical theory, psychoanalysis, and soccer's cultural significance.
